Bo Matthews (William Pierce Matthews) was born on November 15, 1951 in Huntsville, Alabama. After going to high school at Butler (Hunstville, AL), Matthews attended the University of Colorado. Matthews made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the San Diego Chargers and New York Giants over the course of his 9 year career.
Most people believe that 1974 was Bo Matthews's best year, as he ran in 4 TDs.
