Born on March 20, 1966 in Merced, California, Blas Minor (Blas Minor) played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, New York Mets, Seattle Mariners and Houston Astros over the course of his 6 year career. Minor broke into the bigs on July 28, 1992 with the Pittsburgh Pirates, and put up a 4.10 ERA in 94.1 innings pitched in 1993, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Blas Minor's best season was 1993, when he posted a 4.10 ERA and struck out 84 batters.
