Billy Patterson (Joseph William Patterson) was born on August 20, 1918 in Hillsboro, Texas. Patterson attended Baylor University. Patterson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1939 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Chicago Bears over the course of his 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1940 was Billy Patterson's best year.
