Billy Mixon (Billy Raymond Mixon) was born on May 24, 1929 in Tifton, Georgia. After going to high school at Tifton (GA), Mixon attended the University of Georgia. Mixon made his professional debut in the NFL in 1953 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played for the San Francisco 49ers for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1953 was Billy Mixon's best year.
