Billy Meyer (William Adam Meyer) was born on January 14, 1893 in Knoxville, Tennessee. He made his Major League debut on September 6, 1913 for the Chicago White Sox. In 1916, his rookie year, he hit .232 with 1 home run and 12 RBI. Meyer played for the Chicago White Sox and Philadelphia Athletics over the course of his 3 year career.
