Billy Kilmer (William Orland Kilmer, Jr.) was born on September 5, 1939 in Topeka, Kansas. After going to high school at Citrus (Azusa, CA), Kilmer attended the University of California - Los Angeles. Kilmer made his professional debut in the NFL in 1961 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played for the Washington Redskins, New Orleans Saints and San Francisco 49ers over the course of his 16 year career.
Most people believe that 1975 was Billy Kilmer's best year, as he threw for 2440 yards and tossed 23 TDs.
