Billy Hobbs (Willie G. Hobbs) was born on September 18, 1946 in Mount Pleasant, Texas. After going to high school at Tascosa (Amarillo, TX), Hobbs attended Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University. Hobbs made his professional debut in the NFL in 1969 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles and New Orleans Saints over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1969 was Billy Hobbs's best year.
