Bill Windauer (William Joseph Windauer) was born on November 22, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Mendel Catholic (Chicago, IL), Windauer attended the University of Iowa. Windauer made his professional debut in the NFL in 1973 with the Baltimore Colts. He played for the Baltimore Colts, Atlanta Falcons and New York Giants over the course of his 4 year career.
