Bill Stumpf (William Frederick Stumpf) was born on March 21, 1892 in Baltimore, Maryland. He made his Major League debut on May 11, 1912 for the New York Highlanders. Stumpf played for the New York Highlanders and New York Yankees over the course of his 2 year career.
