Bill Stanton (William McKimmon Stanton) was born on April 21, 1924 in Dillon, South Carolina. After going to high school at South Robeson (Rowland, NC), Stanton attended North Carolina State University. Stanton made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1949 with the Buffalo Bills. He played for the Buffalo Bills for his entire 1 year career.
