Born on January 20, 1886 in Cleveland, Ohio, Bill Schardt (Wilburt Schardt) played for the Brooklyn Superbas for his entire 2 year career. Schardt broke into the bigs on April 14, 1911 with the Brooklyn Superbas, and put up a 3.59 ERA in 195.1 innings pitched in 1911, his rookie year.
