Bill Ring (William Thomas Ring) was born on December 13, 1956 in Des Moines, Iowa. After going to high school at Carlmont (Belmont, CA), Ring attended Brigham Young University. Ring made his professional debut in the NFL in 1981 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played for the San Francisco 49ers for his entire 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1983 was Bill Ring's best year.
