Bill Newashe (William O. Newashe) was born on October 5, 1889 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. After going to high school at Carlisle Indian (Carlisle, PA), Newashe attended Carlisle Indian. Newashe made his professional debut in the NFL in 1923 with the Oorang Indians. He played for the Oorang Indians for his entire 1 year career.
