Bill Murrah (William Ervin Murrah) was born on September 5, 1900 in Plano, Texas. After going to high school at Plano (TX), Murrah attended Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University. Murrah made his professional debut in the NFL in 1922 with the Canton Bulldogs. He played for the St. Louis All-Stars and Canton Bulldogs over the course of his 2 year career.
