Bill Kellagher (William Michael Kellagher) was born on August 13, 1920 in Locust Gap, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Ashland (PA), Kellagher attended Fordham University. Kellagher made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1946 with the Chicago Rockets. He played for the Chicago Rockets for his entire 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1947 was Bill Kellagher's best year, as he picked off 6 passes.
