Bill Hachten (William Andrews Hachten) was born on November 30, 1924 in Wichita, Kansas. After going to high school at Huntington Park (CA), Hachten attended Stanford University and Univeristy of California. Hachten made his professional debut in the NFL in 1947 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 1 year career.
