Bill Fulcher (William Marcus Fulcher) was born on February 9, 1934 in Augusta, Georgia. After going to high school at Darlington (Rome, GA) and Richmond Academy (Augusta, GA), Fulcher attended Georgia Institure of Technology. Fulcher made his professional debut in the NFL in 1956 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1958 was Bill Fulcher's best year, as he recovered 4 opponents fumbles.
