Bill Dawson (William Alfred Dawson) was born on December 4, 1942. After going to high school at Valdosta (GA), Dawson attended Florida State University. Dawson made his professional debut in the AFL in 1965 with the Boston Patriots. He played for the Boston Patriots for his entire 1 year career.
