Bert Pearson (Madison B. Pearson) was born on March 22, 1905 in Manhattan, Kansas. After going to high school at Manhattan (KS), Pearson attended Kansas State University. Pearson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1929 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cardinals over the course of his 8 year career.
