Bert Griffith (Bartholomew Joseph Griffith) was born on March 3, 1896 in St. Louis, Missouri. He made his Major League debut on April 13, 1922 for the Brooklyn Robins. In 1922, his rookie year, he hit .308 with 2 home runs and 35 RBI. Griffith played for the Brooklyn Robins and Washington Senators over the course of his 3 year career.
