Bernie Kaplan (Bernard Kaplan) was born on May 7, 1913 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Kaplan attended McDaniel College. Kaplan made his professional debut in the NFL in 1935 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles over the course of his 3 year career.
