Benny Friedman (Benjamin Friedman) was born on March 18, 1905 in Cleveland, Ohio. After going to high school at East Tech(Cleveland, OH) and Glenville (Cleveland, OH), Friedman attended the University of Michigan. Friedman made his professional debut in the NFL in 1927 with the Cleveland Bulldogs. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers, New York Giants, Detroit wolverines and Cleveland Bulldogs over the course of his 8 year career.

Most people believe that 1929 was Benny Friedman's best year, as he tossed 21 TDs.
