Benny Boynton (Benjamin Lee Boynton) was born on December 6, 1898 in Waco, Texas. After going to high school at Waco (TX), Boynton attended Williams College. Boynton made his professional debut in the APFA in 1921 with the Washington Senators. He played in the APFA for 1 year, playing for the Washington Senators the entire time. Boynton also played in the NFL for 2 years, playing for the Rochester Jeffersons the entire time.
