Born on April 25, 1905 in Mullin, Texas, Belve Bean (Beveric Benton Bean) played for the Cleveland Indians and Washington Senators over the course of his 5 year career. Bean broke into the bigs on May 30, 1930 with the Cleveland Indians, and put up a 5.45 ERA in 74.1 innings pitched in 1930, his rookie year.
