Grant McAuley
Grant McAuley covers baseball for the Braves Radio Network. Over the past four seasons, McAuley has made daily contributions on his "Braves Insider" page for network flagship websites, 640 WGST and 94.9 The Bull as well as MLB.com's MLBlog site.

In 2006, McAuley penned a look back on the 14-consecutive Divisional Titles won by the Atlanta Braves, as part of a 1-hour show, voiced by long-time Braves broadcaster Skip Caray. The show highlights and honors the accomplishments of the team from 1991-2005. McAuley was also featured in ESPN Classic's "Top 5 Reason You Can't Blame," as they focused on Braves manager Bobby Cox in a show first airing in September of that year.

ATLANTA -- There will be no baseball at Turner Field on Friday, with heavy rains and a dismal forecast causing the cancellation of the first meeting of the season between the Braves and heated divisional rival New York Mets.

The game has been re-scheduled as part of a split double header to take place on May 20th. No announcement has been made regarding the pitching rotation for the remainder of the series. Tim Hudson will most likely start on Saturday, with Tom Glavine being bumped back to start against Colorado.

Grant, I was going to listen to that game on the net and had my scorecard ready. I hope that the lineups stay the same, since the rotation will be pushed back one day.

Hopefully Saturday's game more than made up for Friday. Chance for the club to get to .500 tomorrow. Smoltz makes the season debut, against Santana no less. Should be a good one.
