About the Author

BigPPup
AGM Linebacker and I will bring the pain.

I'm a sports fanatic. I hail from Nelson County Virginia, and thats where I learned to be a Virginia Cavalier fan. I also learned to be a Dallas Cowboys fan because I hated how good the Redskins were doing. I've played sports at almost every level with the exception of being a fulltime professional, as a result I have a great perception on the sporting world. I love to talk sports and I've never been shy to share my opinion with someone.

The Patriots may not be perfect, but Walker's Rants always is.

Football season is over, college basketball is heating up, and you still have three months before you need to watch an NBA game. Let’s face it if you’re a true Neanderthal it’s a difficult time of the year. But there’s no need to worry, because Walker’s Rants has no offseason, it’s back with another edition of hot fire. Walker’s Rants are a go.

18-1 has never been so meaningless…

Bill Belichick has no class…

Well done Eli Manning, today you are a man…

The Wizards need Gilbert Arenas back and fast…

UVA should fold up the rest of the basketball season and get ready LAX…

The Maryland Terrapins are the most dangerous team in the ACC…

Brock Lesnar is going to be a better MMA fighter than I thought…

The Super Bowl MVP should have gone to the entire New York Giants D-Line…

National signing day is right around the corner, and I bet that won’t help UVA either…

Pau Gasol for Kwame Brown was almost as good of a trade as Brown for Caron Butler…

How does Chris Webber keep finding employment?

Super Model/celebrity girlfriends are the kiss of death aren’t they Tommy?

David Tyree made one of the best catches I have ever seen in Super Bowl history…

I have to admit I do feel bad for Junior Seau…

I’m still banking on my Washington Capitals to win the Southeast…

The Washington Redskins will name Spags as their head coach on Thursday evening or Friday AM…

Congrats to all of the 2008 inductees to the NFL Hall of Fame…

It’s amazing how fast that New England Patriots fans went back to remember the Boston Red Sox championships after last night…

I will not watch the Pro-Bowl no matter how much I miss football, and I do…

My bets are in for the Dallas Cowboys to win the 2009 Super Bowl, I’m calling it now…

Walker's Rants is a singular noun, despite the fact it ends in the letter s. He's got it right.

Thank you Tmil, for understanding that. Walker's Rants are a singular object that happen to contain multiple rants within it it.

After this Super Bowl (and playoffs), one thing is fairly certain:

There will be no more celebrity divas/super models/diseased whore (ie. Paris Hilton) quarterback girl friends sitting in private boxes at games next season.

However, older brothers in attendance, will skyrocket.

Sorry, dude. Hot girls never go out of style. ESPECIALLY in football.

Next you'll blame it on beer! Yee-gads!

These guys are just getting caught up in the famegame instead of the game on the field. Plenty of players have hotter wives than the girls of People Magazine... WOMEN aren't the problem!

18-1 will be honorable someday... Like the first few times two undefeated teams meet in the Super Bowl!

It is amazing the effect the Giants loss had on Las Vegas and its sports books.

http://www.l...mp;cset=true

"The big underdog payoff for the Giants money-line backers meant a huge loss for Vegas," R.J. Bell of Pregame.com said.

"Some reports had over 90% of the money-line bets backing the Giants."

It's amazing how well that moneyline bet helped out my bank account.

Too bad for Giants fans that Jimmy the Greek wasn't alive to set the line, huh?

Forrest Gump couldn't have set it any better. Are you kidding me? Giants +14 was like stealing. I'm not a big gambler any more but I couldn't resist that one, it's like walking past a bank that had a "free money" sign in the window. Absolute no-brainer.

I am going to go a different route and talk about something other than the Super Bowl. Brock Lesnar looked like a complete beast in that fight. If he can stay out of submission holds like the one he got himself into he is going to be a force to be reckoned with.

Belichick should invite Brock to camp and see if he is any good at protecting against the pass rush.

Am I mistaken or didn't the Chiefs give Lesnar a tryout a few years ago. I am fairly sure of it although it may have been the Vikings. I think he got into a fight in camp and was kicked off of the team.

It was the Vikings that gave him a shot, but he just couldnt get through camp. I mean Brock hadnt played football since high school so the NFL was a big stretch for him
