Pitchers and Catchers Report Today

Unfortunately, as the Post-Gazette reports, that means nothing really happens today at all. The players get into town and the coaches have a meeting. The first workout is actually not until Friday. The rest of the players get in on Tuesday. John Russell says the Bucs will be stressing "attention to detail." Great.

Levance Fields has pledged he will play Friday at Marquette. That could be huge, but his minutes will probably be limited. I still wouldn't be shocked if he doesn't see any action tomorrow though.

Duquesne did something last night that Pitt couldn't, they won at Dayton. The big man, Shawn James, hit two late three-balls to seal the win, guaranteeing the Dukes a long-awaited winning season. Dukes Court, as always, has more.

The Pitt women were pounded at WVU, 56-35. The Lady Mountaineers are No. 11 and 20-3 overall. No. 18 Pitt battles No. 2 UConn at the Pete on Sunday.

With the title of this article I was expecting to see a picture of a rainbow or a Gays and Lesbians of America parade picture.
