Mike Tannenbaum has continued his shopping spree this offseason, yesterday signing RB Jesse Chatman from the Miami Dolphins. His signing will add depth to the running back position where they already have Thomas Jones and Leon Washington.
After being out of football in 2006, Jesse Chatman ran for a career high 515 yards in 2007, becoming the starter in week 7 after Ronnie Brown went down with a season ending injury. He reportedly chose the Jets due to his past relationship with some of the coaches. He previously played for offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer while they both were on the Chargers.

Christmas has come early for the Oakland Athletics, as they are very close to making a deal with the Colorado Rockies. It has been said that if Oakland gets Holliday, in return, Colorado will get reliever Huston Street, lefty starter Greg Smith, and a young, talented outfielder in Carlos Gonzalez.
