Mike Tannenbaum was busy again today, he had his two guys in his sights and he brought them in, signing LB Calvin Pace and OT Damien Woody to free agent contracts. Woody signs a 5 year, $25.5 million dollar contract including $11 million in guaranteed money, while Pace signs a 6 year $42 million dollar deal including $22 million in guaranteed money.

Calvin Pace, playing in his first season in the 3-4 alignment with the Cardinals last year, made an impact including over 100 tackles and 6.5 sacks. He is expected to make an impact playing alongside David Harris on the now much improved defensive front of the Jets.

After sureing up the left side of the line earlier this week with Alan Faneca, Damien Woody is expected to start at right tackle next season. He is a versatile player that has spent time at right guard as well, and is familiar with this coaching staff. Woody and Mangini spent 4 seasons together up in New England.

Good for the Jets, they got Woody. Seriously, they are going mad in free agency, hopefully they'll turn around next season.

They are going to have a great offensive line with Ferguson, Clement Mangold, Faneca, and Woody

Jets destined to be the most improved team next season? Maybe.
