Art White (Arthur P. White) was born on December 6, 1915 in Lockhart, Alabama. After going to high school at Atmore (AL), White attended the University of Alabama. White made his professional debut in the NFL in 1937 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants and Chicago Cardinals over the course of his 6 year career.
