I challenged you to Beat the Mets -- and you responded. Over 80 comments, about two dozen All-25-Year Teams, and links across the blogosphere.
So here's my second challenge: Rewrite baseball history -- one Team, one Year at a time.
As before, I started. I wrote up part of the seasons for two of my favorite teams, the 1986 New York Mets and the other Shea Title-team, the 1969 New York Mets. And now, I'm starting on Championship Season #3: The 2007 New York Mets.
(Okay, I'm being a bit aggressive.)
You can check out those team pages and make them better. Yep, just like Wikipedia, you can edit those pages.
But I'm sure a lot of you aren't Mets fans, or wax nostalgic for the 1990 or 1984 teams, and want to rewrite your own baseball history. So, you can. Just enter the team's year and name in the box below. Oh, and to make it consistent -- so others can add their stuff -- use full names. So, "2005 Boston Red Sox", not "2005 Bosox" or "2005 Red Sox". And use proper capitalization in the box, too.
Up to the challenges?
