Andy Sheets (Andrew Mark Sheets) was born on November 19, 1971 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He made his Major League debut on April 22, 1996 for the Seattle Mariners. In 1998, his rookie year, he hit .242 with 7 home runs and 29 RBI. Sheets played for the Seattle Mariners, San Diego Padres, Anaheim Angels, Boston Red Sox and Tampa Bay Devil Rays over the course of his 7 year career.
