Andy Reese (Andrew Jackson Reese) was born on February 7, 1904 in Tupelo, Mississippi. He made his Major League debut on April 15, 1927 for the New York Giants. In 1927, his rookie year, he hit .265 with 4 home runs and 21 RBI. Reese played for the New York Giants for his entire 4 year career.

Most people believe that Andy Reese's best season was 1928, when he hit for a .308 average.
