Andy Allanson (Andrew Neal Allanson) was born on December 22, 1961 in Richmond, Virginia. He made his Major League debut on April 7, 1986 for the Cleveland Indians. In 1986, his rookie year, he hit .225 with 1 home run and 29 RBI. Allanson played for the Cleveland Indians, Detroit Tigers, Milwaukee Brewers, San Francisco Giants and California Angels over the course of his 8 year career.

Most people believe that Andy Allanson's best season was 1988, when he knocked in 50 runs.
