Well just as fashions come back I've decided to bring back the All-Time Teams, also I thought we could do with an article that didn't have to do with the Yankees or everyone's annoyance with Pnatt.
So without further ado the all time University of Arizona Baseball team:
Catcher: Ron Hassey - The only man to ever catch two perfect games.
First Base: J.T. Snow - Perennial Gold Glover. MVP in 1997.
Second Base: Chip Hale - Manager of the year in Triple A, would provide good leadership on the field.
Third Base: Jack Howell - Confirmed that the ball was juiced when he hit a broken bat homer in Yankee Stadium.
Short Stop: Eddie Leon - Was an All American at the U of A (this is the only guy who is on the team because of what he did with the college).
Left Field: Brian Anderson - Young outfielder who shows promise with the White Sox.
Center Field: Kenny Lofton - Well, what do you need to know he is almost 40 and has over 30 SBs.
Right Field: John Moses - A fast base-runner and a great defender.
SP 1: Scott Erickson - Pitched a No-Hitter and lost to only Roger Clemens in the 1991 Cy Young awards.
SP2: Craig Lefferts - Even though for the majority of his career he was a reliever he did start quite a few games.
SP3: Gil Heredia - He was the best I could find. But he'd do a damn good job anyways.
Closer: Trevor Hoffman: ALL TIME MLB SAVES LEADER!
Manager: Terry Francona: He broke the Curse of the Bambino.
