Alex Kapter (Alexander J. Kapter) was born on March 26, 1922 in Waukegan, Illinois. After going to high school at Waukegan Township (IL), Kapter attended Northwestern University. Kapter made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1946 with the Cleveland Browns. He played for the Cleveland Browns for his entire 1 year career.
