Alex Gordon (Alex Groncier Gordon) was born on September 14, 1964 in Jacksonville, Florida. After going to high school at Englewood (Jacksonville, FL), Gordon attended the University of Cincinnati. Gordon made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets, Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Raiders over the course of his 7 year career.
Most people believe that 1987 was Alex Gordon's best year, as he recorded 5 sacks.
