Born on October 2, 1969 in La Habra, California, Alan Newman (Alan Spencer Newman) played for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 2 year career. Newman broke into the bigs on May 14, 1999 with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.
