Al Van Camp (Albert Joseph Van Camp) was born on September 7, 1903 in Moline, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on September 11, 1928 for the Cleveland Indians. In 1931, his rookie year, he hit .275 with 0 home runs and 33 RBI. Van Camp played for the Cleveland Indians and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 3 year career.
