Al Steinfeld (Alan A. Steinfeld) was born on October 28, 1958 in Brooklyn, New York. After going to high school at South Shore (Brooklyn, NY), Steinfeld attended Long Island University. Steinfeld made his professional debut in the NFL in 1982 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played for the New York Giants and Kansas City Chiefs over the course of his 2 year career.
