Al Sparlis (Albert Alexander Sparlis) was born on May 20, 1920 in Los Angeles, California. After going to high school at Polytechnic (Los Angeles, CA), Sparlis attended the University of California - Los Angeles. Sparlis made his professional debut in the NFL in 1946 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 1 year career.
