Al Nichols (Allen Nichols) was born on October 28, 1916. After going to high school at Avalon (PA), Nichols attended Temple University. Nichols made his professional debut in the NFL in 1945 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 1 year career.
