Al Burton (Albert Burton, III) was born on March 30, 1962 in Dayton Beach, Florida. After going to high school at Mainland (Daytona Beach, FL), Burton attended Bethune-Cookman College. Burton made his professional debut in the NFL in 1976 with the Houston Oilers. He played for the Houston Oilers for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1977 was Al Burton's best year, as he recovered 3 opponents fumbles.
