This is a tough week to pick any sort of upset. Most of the games are REALLY close and the ones that aren’t have a good reason not to
So here are The Hoch's picks for the weekend, again taking into account the spread, and that the team I choose won't necessarily win outright, but will win by more or lose by less then the number listed:
Houston is good. They are not great, but their defense has made a huge leap. And seeing as how the Miami defense is terrible, and the offense is nothing to write home about, I will take the favorite.
MIA
HOU -5.5
BLAH. I don’t care about this game at all. It has no bearing on anything. Except…the Titans are a pleasant surprise this year. I hope to see them have a big day with the one two punch of Chris Brown and LenDale White (Slim and Porky, respectively)
ATL
TEN -8.5
KC is starting to get moving, but JAX has a stout pass defense. They will hold whoever is actually behind center in the black hole that is Kansas City. LJ needs to have a big day for them to win, and the way the line has been, I wouldn’t put any faith in that.
JAX -2.5

This was my "Breakdown" game. It will be good. I will not rehash. I will just say that I will take the Jets.

This game will make people change the channel/puke/compulsively eat/drink/all of the above. The good thing: two bad teams usually have a good game. NO won’t go winless much longer.

St Louis is Terrible. Arizona is riding high. Let’s go Gus Frerotte!
