[edit] Biography

Adam Riggs (Adam David Riggs) was born on October 4, 1972 in Steubenville, Ohio. He made his Major League debut on August 7, 1997 for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Riggs played for the Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego Padres and Anaheim Angels over the course of his 4 year career.

Riggs was also one of the players named in baseball's Mitchell Report. According to the report, Riggs was referred to former Mets clubhouse attendant Kirk Radomski by Paul Lo Duca. Radomski states that he sold HGH, clenbuterol, and Winstrol to Riggs over a period between 2003 and 2005, in at least 6 shipments. Radomski was able to turn over 5 checks and money orders that he had received from Riggs. Riggs' name, as well as his phone number was found in Radomski's seized address book, as well as an Express Mail receipt addressed to Riggs.

Like most players, Riggs declined to be interviewed by investigators for the Mitchell Report.
