Born on November 28, 1976 in San Jose, California, Adam Bernero (Adam Gino Bernero) played for the Detroit Tigers, Colorado Rockies, Atlanta Braves, Philadelphia Phillies and Kansas City Royals over the course of his 7 year career. Bernero broke into the bigs on August 1, 2000 with the Detroit Tigers, and put up a 6.20 ERA in 101.2 innings pitched in 2002, his rookie year.
