Abdul Salaam (Lawrence born Faulk) was born on August 12, 1953 in Cincinnati, Ohio. After going to high school at Woodward (Cincinnati, OH), Salaam attended Kent State University. Salaam made his professional debut in the NFL in 1976 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets for his entire 8 year career.
Most people believe that 1982 was Abdul Salaam's best year.
