A Western Rivalry

Ok so the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Los Angeles Dodgers have always had that inner division rivalry, but in the second to last series before the All-Star break (the series was in LA) this rivalry was taken to the extreme. In the first game of the series the D-Backs drilled 5 Dodgers (which is pretty dang ironic) 3 of them being Nomar Garciaparra. All 5 hits seemed to be unintentional. The Dodgers retaliated by hitting Shawn Green, the former Dodger, and in the next game Luis Gonzalez (These were intentional). The rest of the series was uneventful with the Dodgers going on to sweep the 3 game series.
With the Dodgers now in Phoenix for a 4 game series you would expect the game to get fiery and it did, but in a different way. The D-Backs starting pitcher was rookie Enrquie Gonzalaz (no relation to Gonzo) who promptly drilled J.D. Drew whose younger brother Stephen Drew was making his 3rd start in the big leagues for the D-Backs. The Dodgers did nothing and no warning was issued. In the bottom half of the inning after some questionable checked swing calls Dodger manager Grady Little went out to talk to 3rd base umpire Angel Hernandez but after Little left Dodger 1st base couch Mariano Duncan ran at Hernandez and was thrown out but as Little was taking him away Duncan threw his hat at Hernandez who caught it and threw it to a D-backs fan in the stands.
But wait theres more Stephen Drew got his first major league hit, pitcher Enrquie Gonzalez went 3-3 with a double an RBI and 2 runs scored, Gonzo hit a double and passed Willie Mays on the all time doubles list, and to cap it off Eric Byrnes hit a three run shot in to some Dodger fans beer. Boston and New York get to much credit when has this happened to them.
Ok this is my second article and my first got no helpful criticism so any would be great.
