ATTENTION: IMPORTANT NFL GAME RECAP INFO

Here is the best way to organize game recaps. Write down your team, and put your name next to it, showing your interest. If you put it down and nobody else does than you are the one writer and can write for every game your team plays. If more than one put their name down than you guys can work something out, divide the games out, work on it together, etc.

  • Green Bay Packers- The Beast
  • New York Jets- --Roblefko
  • Pittsburgh Steelers- Bball3345
  • New England Patriots- False Prophet, Xinoph
  • Kansas City Chiefs - Estebistec

I am willing to split with any other Steelers fans. I watch all the games, but I am also writing University of Pittsburgh football recaps because I attend all their home games. So any help would be appreciated.

This won't completely solve the problem. There's two teams in a game so only one person from both teams can write the recap, so you can't necessarily write a recap for every game your team plays. Every week everyone will have to figure out who is writing from the other side of the game and correspond with them to figure out who it's going to work out. Just something to keep in mind.

I had already started a thread to figure all of this out, but I guess we can move it here. The point was that perhaps more than one person WOULD coordinate to write a recap, and that we would want to figure out how to do that (or at least the people collaborating on a game will have to figure it out).

False Prophet, if there's a game you don't get a chance to watch or can't get a recap for, let me know. I'd gladly do them, but have no problem if you want to do the write ups instead.

How about, if we run into the problem that CPCP described, the user who covers the Home Team of that particular game gets to write the recap?

I'm still willing to coordinate with fans of the other team to merge input, viewpoints, analysis and so forth, as I stated in the other thread. So Bengals fans, I will share the recap with you.

The recap of the game can be collaborated on, but maybe have two sections of analysis: analysis from fan of XX; analysis from fan of YY

In my recaps I would still like to outline major themes, plays, and stories of the game to add someone's comments to, rather than just chaotic chiming in. I envision a nice brief summary, "keys to the game" (including any running "game within a game" that stood out, e.g. TEs vs. LBs), then on to specific plays, events, ref calls, play-call decisions, player performances, etc. That's just my idea though. That's why I was asking for feedback on the other thread. I'd like to see if people have format ideas like this that would make it easier to compose game recaps from multiple people.

I have season tix to the Pats, Prophet, and will probably go to 7 - 8 of the home games, including playoffs. When it's a home game, think you can wait until I get back home or to the hotel and get my parka off before you jump on the recap?
