AGM Fantasy Baseball Draft Reminder Thingy

Huh. That's weird, because it's telling me, "Your live online draft is set for Sat Mar 24 3:30pm EDT". 12:30 MST would be 1:30 MDT, which would be 3:30 EDT... maybe Yahoo! still hasn't switched to daylight savings time or something.

That would be entirely possible, considering the change in the law. I've got 3:30 eastern time on my site.

For realism. There's a limit to the number of innings your team can "pitch" over the course of the season (1475), to encourage you to build your staff like a real-life GM would; once you reach that limit, stats are no longer accumulated at that position. You could go crazy, draft all starters, and burn up all your innings by June, but as a rule starters have higher ERAs than relievers anyway, so I'm not sure why you'd want to take that tack. But I digress. Point is, it's all about the realism in this league (as much realism as Yahoo! will allow, that is).

Well, baseball is kind of like cricket's illegitimate stepchild, so maybe there's a connection there...

Ha, me too. I think Yahoo! hasn't totally adjusted to daylight savings -- the countdown clock at "My Team" was off by an hour all morning, and now it's disabled. I hope the system works in a half-hour...
